So I got a blog now, and as far as what's going on in my life, that's most likely where I'll be posting, I might just copy and paste some entries here in my journal, but if you're really interested, I don't blame you if your not, that's where it'll be. Birthday Spoils

So I just got over with the family party for my 16th birthday. Yesterday I spent 9 or so hours at the mall/theme park with my friends. I have to say, it was nice. We roamed around pretty much doing whatever we wanted. We didn't have parents hovering over us like hawks.

Anyway, lunch wasn't too bad. I have three sides to my family and my dad's side is really small and often huddle over by me. It's just my grandma and dad and I like to chat with them, so it works out alright. Aside from the fact that the other two thirds of my family tried to be nice and complement me in the wrong gender. I can't really complain, though. They don't know.

I suppose for those of you who don't actually know me, now would be a good time to explain: I'm transgender, born a girl, never liked it, want to be a guy/be treated like a guy/marry a woman ect. So you can imagine my discomfort when this morning I was told that, instead of putting on my chest-slimming shirt, I was to look relatively feminine. Yes, not happy was I.

So yes, my spoils of today were multiple gift cards to buy my Letterman jacket, a hand-me-down digital SLR camera, iTunes money...and a hand-made...purse...I kinda feel bad because my step-grandma makes all these nice things that we never use. And I can fake the generosity for the feminine cards and notepads and stuff that I can throw away later, but I just can't get rid of that and I know I'll never use it. I can't help but feel like she's going to be one of the bigger obstacles when it comes to sharing the truth, and even more so when I start to change physically.

But a day with friends makes up for it. I got some iTunes money from them, too and a few books I've been looking at. All and all, not a bad birthday.

Got Questions? Ask!

I'm not sure how many people know this about me, but I love being asked questions, so long as they aren't really, really pointless. Ask me anything and don't be afraid that you'll offend me. You could pretty much discriminate me in any way possible and, although I won't like you, I wouldn't be offended, so ask away!

I'll post a journal with all of the questions in them. It will be updated so long as there are people asking me questions. You can either send me a note, shoot me an e-mail, or comment on the entry after it's posted, and I'll reply in the journal. Each question will have the person's username next to the question unless they request that they be anonymous.

For personal security reasons, there are some things I won't answer, i.e. "What's you social security number?" or "What's your phone number?". You'll be lucky if I don't give you a cop's number for the second one.

Ask me anything and everything you can think of and I'll try to reply as quickly and fully as I can!

Wrap-Up

I'm in more or less of a good mood. I don't know if/when I'm getting my license, but I don't really care that much. I'm eager to hear anyone's questions about quite literally anything and when you get a chance, check out New Wings. I'll be posting more art and literature content soon, so look out for that.
